Leading software development for a NASA-recognized autonomous tethered drone that inspects aircraft airframes using eddy currents.

Working on an autonomous tethered drone for eddy-current inspection of aircraft airframes through the NASA Blue Skies Program. The project earned finalist status and received $9,000 to develop a prototype.

Developing SLAM and validating it with a custom hardware-in-the-loop setup that combines Gazebo-simulated sensor data with real-drone position feedback.

Developing the drone control stack with ROS 2, Gazebo, and MAVLink on a Pixhawk embedded controller and Jetson Nano flight computer, using C++ for telemetry and Python for data processing.
